Drop-forged from American high-carbon steel at Wilde’s Hiawatha, Kansas plant — the same forge that’s been turning out hand tools since 1927. The 6-inch length is the size for finer work: hose clamps, electrical terminals, jewelry repair, fishing-tackle adjustments. Knurled jaws grip without slipping; slip-joint pivot opens to two preset jaw widths.
The small plier that lives on a precision workbench. Used by jewelry hobbyists, fly tiers, electronics technicians, model-makers, and anyone whose work doesn’t need the big mechanical advantage of larger pliers. Pairs with Wilde’s bigger 8-inch and 10-inch slip-joint pliers for a full-range plier rotation.
