The MCT-75P set clamps mitred corners so the two faces stay registered while the glue cures. Mitre joints slip under clamp pressure because the glue acts as a lubricant on an angled face, which is why a corner that looked perfect dry opens up wet.
It is used on picture frames, box corners, and cabinet trim, holding the joint square while you drive a spline or pin if you want mechanical reinforcement.
