The Slab Flattening Mill PRO is a rigid router sled that carries a router across a slab on trued rails, with the EZ-Drive providing a steady feed. Flatness comes from the rails, not the operator, which is the whole point once a slab exceeds planer width.
It surfaces live-edge table tops, workbench tops, and cookie slabs that no thickness planer can accept, in controlled passes rather than freehand sweeps that leave ridges.
Woodpeckers has designed and machined precision woodworking tools at its facilities in Strongsville, Ohio since 1993, doing its own machining, engraving, assembly and packing.
