The 2477 is an adjustable click-type torque wrench with a metal handle. You set the target on the scale and the mechanism breaks with a distinct click when the fastener reaches it, so torque does not depend on your judgement of resistance.
It covers engine, suspension, and equipment fasteners where a spec sheet gives a number. Storing it backed off to its lowest setting keeps the spring from taking a set between jobs.
Wright Tool has forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, using no foreign blanks and only U.S. steel.
