The 744 set covers 9mm through 14mm in five flare nut wrenches. Each jaw closes most of the way around the fitting, contacting five flats, then opens just enough to pass over the tube that runs through the nut.
It is the set for metric brake and fuel line unions, transmission cooler fittings, and hydraulic connections where an open-end wrench chews the corners off a soft nut.
Wright Tool has forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, using no foreign blanks and only U.S. steel.
