These are kids’ drumsticks built on a shortened, reduced-diameter shaft so a child can actually hold and rebound them, finished in a Crayola colourway. They are turned like the adult sticks, not moulded plastic.
They suit a first kit or lessons, where a full-size 5A is too long and heavy to control and puts a beginner off before they start.
The Avedis Zildjian Company has made cymbals since 1623 and manufactures them at its factory in Norwell, Massachusetts; its drumsticks are turned at the company’s Newport, Maine plant.
