Roast slicers are long, straight and relatively thin because carving is a drawing motion, not a pressing one. The Duo-Edge grind adds shallow scallops on one face, which break the vacuum that makes hot roast meat stick and then tear.
Ten inches will carve a rib roast, a turkey breast or a ham without repositioning, and the round tip means you can work close to a bone without catching it. The laminated handle is a layered hardwood, more dimensionally stable than solid stock under repeated washing.
