The Leatherman Charge Plus is the 19-tool full-size multi-tool the company has refined over four decades, packing needle-nose pliers, replaceable wire cutters, a 154CM steel blade, scissors, a saw blade, file, can opener, and 19 tools total into a black anodized stainless steel handle that fits a belt sheath or pocket. The 154CM blade steel holds an edge longer than the 420HC found on cheaper multi-tools.
Use it as the everyday-carry multi-tool for the working tradesman, hunter, military service member, or weekend builder, a vehicle and saddlebag tool kit, a hiking and camping companion that replaces a small toolbox, and any application where one folding tool replaces five separate hand tools. The replaceable wire cutters mean the tool stays useful after years of cutting that wears regular plier jaws unusable.
Leatherman has been making multi-tools in Portland, Oregon since 1983 — Tim Leatherman’s original 1975 prototype is the great-grandfather of every modern multi-tool. Every Leatherman carries the company’s 25-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
