The Buck 252 Trunk is a folding cleaver-style EDC knife — a 3-3/4 inch 7Cr17MoV stainless steel blade ground in cleaver geometry, locked open by a frame mechanism, with a tan textured G10 handle that anchors the knife in hand. The blade silhouette is squared off rather than tapered, giving a long flat cutting edge that carves through cardboard, packing tape, plastic strapping, and other utility material with a single chop-style stroke.
The cleaver profile suits jobsite work, warehouse box-breakdown, food prep at the campsite, and any cutting task where a flat working edge matters more than a sharp piercing tip. At 3.1 ounces it carries comfortably with a deep-carry pocket clip, and the G10 handle stays grippy in wet or gloved hands.
Buck Knives has been making American folding knives since 1902 and produces the 252 Trunk at its Post Falls, Idaho factory. The Forever Warranty stands behind every blade against material and workmanship defects.
