The DMT DMTD8ME/EE is a 8-inch Medium X-Fine/XX-Fine 4000/8000 grit bench stone with the brand’s signature monocrystalline diamond surface bonded to a precision-flat steel substrate. The diamond grit cuts faster than traditional sharpening stones, stays flat over decades of use without dishing, and works dry, with water, or with mineral oil.
Use it on kitchen knives, hunting knives, pocket knives, woodworking tools, lawn mower blades, garden shears, fish hooks, and any blade that needs precision sharpening. The flat diamond surface produces a true edge geometry that lasts longer than edges put on softer stones.
