This is a Whiteside cove bit, model 1805, ground for cutting concave cove profiles for trim and edges. It measures 1/2″ shank, 5/8″ cutting length, 1/2″ radius, and uses carbide cutting edges that resist heat and hold an edge far longer than plain steel.
Chuck it into a router table or handheld router to shape decorative cove edges, drawer pulls, and moldings. The balanced bit runs true at speed, so cuts come out concentric and clean with minimal sanding afterward.
