GrillGrate replaces the factory grate on your grill with interlocking panels of hard-anodized aluminum. The raised rails sear like a steakhouse griddle while the valleys below trap drippings and vaporize them into flavor instead of letting them fall onto the burners and flare up. Aluminum conducts heat roughly three times better than stainless steel, so hot spots and cold corners even out across the cooking surface.
This set contains two panels at 13.75 inches long, a size that fits smaller kettle grills, kamado cookers and portable models. Panels interlock side by side, and they are reversible: rails up for searing, flat side up as a solid griddle for eggs, vegetables, fish and anything else that would fall through a standard grate.
The hard-coat anodized finish never rusts and will outlast the grill it sits in. GrillGrate manufactures every panel at its plant in Cartersville, Georgia, which is exactly why these cost more than an imported replacement grate and exactly why they are still in service years later.
