The Buck 379 Solo is a traditional slipjoint folding knife with a single modified-clip blade in 420J2 stainless steel and nickel-silver bolsters that frame a polished handle. There’s no thumb stud and no spring-loaded opener — you pinch the nail nick and pull the blade out the old-fashioned way, then close it with controlled finger pressure when you’re done.

Slip it into a dress-pant pocket as a gentleman’s carry, into a coin pocket for a discreet daily blade, or into a fishing vest as a backup line cutter. The modified clip point handles paperwork tasks, package opening, fruit slicing on a picnic, and other light cutting without overdesigning the knife. At less than an ounce the Solo never announces its presence.

Buck Knives has been making American folding knives since 1902 and produces the 379 Solo at its Post Falls, Idaho factory. The Forever Warranty backs every blade against material and workmanship defects.
