The Estwing 4-Pound Club Sledge Hammer is a one-handed demolition sledge with a 50-55 HRC hard-face head locked to a 12-inch indestructible handle wrapped in vulcanized rubber overlay. The 4-pound head delivers serious chisel-driving and demolition force in a body sized for one-hand operation, where larger sledges require two hands.
Use it for setting masonry chisels, driving cold chisels through hardened steel, pounding rebar stakes and survey markers, residential demolition where the larger sledges are too big for the swing space, breaking concrete patches, automotive body work striking, and any one-hand striking job where 4 pounds is the right weight. The reinforced lanyard hole at the handle end accommodates fall-protection rigging for heightened work.
Estwing has been forging American hammers in Rockford, Illinois since 1923 — over 100 years of US tool making. Estwing’s E-series and B-series hammers are forged from American steel and carry the company’s lifetime warranty.
