The Field Company Double-Handled Cast Iron Skillet is the largest pan in the Field line, a 16-inch skillet with two opposing handles instead of one long traditional handle plus a helper tab. The two-handle design distributes the weight of a 16-inch loaded pan evenly across both arms when lifting from the oven or moving from cooktop to table — the only way to safely move a pan this size when full.
Use it for 8+ serving family-style cooking, paella for a dinner party, large-batch braises that travel from cooktop to oven to table, skillet pizzas the size of a Domino’s large, holiday-meal vegetable roasting, communal-table presentation cooking, and any oversized cast iron application where the standard single-handle design simply isn’t safe. Pre-seasoned with organic flaxseed-based oil at the foundry.
Field Company is a small American family-owned cast iron maker, casting at U.S. foundries and machining the cooking surfaces in-house. Every Field skillet is modeled on the lighter, smoother cast iron of pre-1900 American kitchens.
