The Field Company Small Cast Iron Skillet is an 8.38 inch pan that sits between the brand’s mini one-egg skillet and the No. 8 family skillet — sized for one to two servings. Field’s signature smooth, machined cooking surface is noticeably lighter than legacy cast iron and develops a deep nonstick season with regular use.
Use it as a couples’ breakfast skillet, a single-burner steak finishing pan, a dorm-friendly cooking surface, or a dedicated sear pan that lives on the stovetop. The smaller diameter heats fast and stores under most cabinets.
