The Dexter-Russell WS-1 Knife Scabbard is a heavy-duty white polypropylene sheath sized to fit straight-blade fillet knives from 6 to 9 inches, including the matching Dexter-Russell fillet line. Drain holes through the body let water and slime escape so the blade dries fully between cuts, and a riveted strap with a belt loop keeps the scabbard secure when you walk between stations or to the boat.
It’s the right tool when a knife has to travel – down the dock for fish prep, between coolers at a butcher shop, or onto a long shift at a commercial kitchen. The molded design protects the cutting edge from the inside of a tackle bag, drawer, or apron, and the rigid plastic stays sanitary through frequent rinses without warping.
