The Legitimizer is a freestyle and park twin running an early-rise camber jib profile, which lifts the contact points slightly so the board slides onto features instead of catching on them. It is a shape built around rails, boxes and flat ground rather than around high-speed carving.
At 151cm it sits in the range most riders choose for jibbing, short enough to spin and press without fighting the swing weight. Lib Tech lists it for resort, park and streets, and the twin shape means switch riding is the same as regular rather than an adjustment.
Mervin Manufacturing builds Lib Tech and GNU boards in Sequim, Washington, on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and is one of the last snowboard makers that never moved production offshore. The factory runs on a zero-hazardous-waste process the company has built its identity around.
