A three-fin thruster set from Lib Tech in a medium size, supplied as a matched set rather than singles. Medium is keyed to rider weight rather than board length, and it covers the broad middle of adult riders.
A thruster setup is the default for a reason – the centre fin holds a line while the two side fins let the board release out of a turn. Swapping fins is the cheapest meaningful change you can make to how a board feels, well short of buying another board.
Lib Tech is a Mervin Manufacturing brand, building boards and skis in Sequim, Washington since 1977.
