The Cowboy Spatula in “Cowboy Christmas” is an 11-inch hand-shaped mesquite wood spatula with a triangle blade and a Western-themed Christmas engraving. Mesquite is one of the densest hardwoods native to Texas, and each spatula is cut, shaped, sanded, and finished with food-safe pure coconut oil – no stains, lacquers, or chemical coatings that could end up in food.
The triangle blade does a lot of jobs: the wide flat edge scrapes seasoned cast iron clean without lifting the patina, the angled edge slides under fried eggs and pancakes, and the point breaks up ground meat as it cooks. Wood will not scratch any cooktop surface, so it’s safe on cast iron, carbon steel, stainless, enameled cast iron, and nonstick.
Cowboy Spatula is a Texas workshop hand-making mesquite kitchen tools one piece at a time. Color and grain vary across spatulas because every piece is cut from different wood, and every Cowboy Spatula is made and shipped from the USA.
