This is the full-size Original bed in American pine — 4 feet by 8, with boards that stack to take the wall from 7 inches to 10.5 depending on how deep you want to go.
Pine will not outlast cedar, but it costs a fraction of it, and for a first season or a plot you may move next year that is often the right trade. The dovetail corners assemble without tools, and additional boards can be added later to raise the sides.
Greenes Fence has been building cedar and pine garden structures in Ohio since 1947, working with North American timber.
