Sixteen inches square, twenty-one tall, in 3/4-inch North American cedar. The taller leg raises the planting surface without widening the footprint, which is what you want where floor space is the constraint.
A pair either side of a door, one in a balcony corner, one at the end of a terrace — it holds herbs, salad or a single fruiting plant, and at this height nothing needs bending to reach.
