This is a Rada server in model R120, cast brushed-aluminum handles. The working end is stainless steel formed for the job rather than stamped flat, and the handles are cast solid aluminum, so there is no hollow rattle and no rivet seam to loosen.
Lifting and plating a slice without letting it fall apart between pan and plate.
Rada Mfg. Co. has been making cutlery in Waverly, Iowa since 1948, and grinds and assembles every blade at that plant.
