This is Fiesta’s Rangetop Salt & Pepper Set in Lapis — a pair of larger-format ceramic shakers in the deep cobalt-navy Lapis glaze. ‘Rangetop’ is the oversized version of Fiesta’s shaker; it holds more than the smaller table shaker and is shaped to sit on a stove or counter without looking undersized next to the cooktop.
It’s the kind of piece that earns its place by being out all the time — seasoning goes in and out of it every cooking session, so a bigger capacity means fewer refills. Lapis reads as a confident, dark blue against a stainless stove or a light-colored counter. The ceramic caps thread securely so they don’t loosen during daily handling. Dishwasher-safe.
Fiesta has been making this dinnerware at its factory in Newell, West Virginia since 1936 — one of the longest-running domestic pottery operations in the country. Every piece is cast, fired, and glazed at that Newell plant, which is why the colors stay consistent from one collection to the next.
