This is the SeaSucker Talon, a one-bike fork-mount rack held to the car by three vacuum cups rated at 210 pounds of pull strength each. It mounts to the roof, trunk, or rear glass of virtually any vehicle and weighs about a third of a comparable hitch rack.
It turns a sedan, coupe, or rental into a bike hauler in under a minute, then stows in a closet when the ride is done — no permanent hardware, no paint damage. Team mechanics have run SeaSucker racks at the Tour de France, which says enough about how the cups hold at speed.
SeaSucker has designed and manufactured vacuum-mount racks at its Bradenton, Florida factory since 2005, sourcing nearly all of its components from American suppliers.
