This is a Whiteside roundover bit, model 502, ground for softening square edges into a smooth rounded profile. It measures 1/4″ shank, and uses carbide-tipped cutting edges that resist heat and hold an edge far longer than plain steel.
Chuck it into a router table or handheld router to ease table edges, round shelf fronts, and soften the corners of trim and furniture parts. The balanced bits run true at speed, so cuts come out concentric and clean with minimal sanding afterward.
