The 2464 is an adjustable torque screwdriver with a 1/4-inch female hex drive and a 5 to 40 inch-pound range. You dial the setting on the handle and the tool signals when the fastener reaches it, so low-torque hardware is tightened to spec rather than guessed.
It is the right tool for electrical terminations, instrument and optics hardware, and assembly work where an over-torqued small screw strips the thread or cracks a housing.
Wright Tool has forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, using no foreign blanks and only U.S. steel.
