Pure beeswax with nothing cut into it, which changes how the candle behaves: beeswax burns slower and hotter than paraffin, drips far less, and carries the faint honey smell of the wax itself. There is no dye and no added fragrance.
At 2″ x 3″ it burns a long evening at a time. It is a candle to light at dinner and leave going, since it will not slump or tunnel the way a softer wax does.
Bee Hive Candles has hand-poured its candles in a workshop the family built in the Mt. Baker foothills at Maple Falls, Washington since 2006, using beeswax gathered in the United States.
