This is a Rada whisk in model R117, cast brushed-aluminum handles. The working end is stainless steel formed for the job rather than stamped flat, and the handles are cast solid aluminum, so there is no hollow rattle and no rivet seam to loosen.
Blending sauces, batters and dressings in a bowl or straight in the pan.
Rada Mfg. Co. has been making cutlery in Waverly, Iowa since 1948, and grinds and assembles every blade at that plant.
