The Lodge Round Seasoned Cast Iron Comal Griddle is a 10.5-inch round flat-top griddle with no sidewalls — the traditional comal pan shape used in Mexican kitchens for warming tortillas, charring vegetables for salsa, and cooking flat foods that need full-surface heat without the walls of a skillet getting in the way.
Use it for warming corn and flour tortillas to the table, charring tomatoes and chiles for fresh salsa, cooking pancakes and crepes, breakfast eggs and bacon flat-top style, smashed-burger sliders, grilled cheese sandwiches, and any flat-surface application where the absence of skillet walls makes flipping easier. The pre-seasoned cast iron works on stovetop, oven, grill, or campfire.
Lodge has been casting iron cookware in South Pittsburg, Tennessee since 1896 — over 125 years of American foundry-making. Every Lodge piece is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and arrives ready to cook out of the box.
