This is the Lodge cast iron mini cake pan — a round baking pan with 6 shaped wells, each sized for an individual mini cake, cornbread, or baked dessert. Fill each well with batter and the pan produces 6 portion-sized baked goods in one pass, ready to pop out and serve. Cast iron gives every side of each little cake a proper browned exterior, which is what makes the finished pieces look professional rather than homemade.
It’s the pan for individually-portioned desserts at dinner parties, kids’ birthdays, or holiday meals where each guest gets their own piece. Pre-seasoned at the foundry and oven-safe to any temperature.
Lodge has been making cast iron cookware in South Pittsburg, Tennessee since 1896 — the longest continuously operating cast iron foundry in the United States. Every traditional black cast iron piece in the Lodge lineup is cast, seasoned, and packed at that Tennessee foundry.
