The Wilde Tool G408 is a 9-inch lock ring pliers with curved (45-degree) tip geometry — the geometry pick when straight-tip pliers can’t get the right angle of attack on snap rings inside transmission housings, suspension cups, or small-engine assemblies.
This sits between the brand’s straight-tip G407 and the 90-degree angle-tip G409 in the lock ring trio. Drop-forged steel construction holds the pivot tight through repeated open-close cycles, and the satin finish resists glare and rust on the bench.
Wilde Tool has been making professional hand tools in Hiawatha, Kansas since 1927 — a fourth-generation American brand. The G-series pliers are drop-forged from American alloy steel and finished in-house, backed by a lifetime guarantee.
