The Klein Tools D2000-9NE Side Cutter Linesman Pliers is the heavy-duty 9-inch linesman plier in the D2000 series — induction-hardened cutting blades that handle ACSR cable, screws, nails, and hardened wire that would chip standard linesman pliers. The High-Leverage rivet placement increases cutting force at the jaw by up to 46 percent over the standard D-series pliers.

Use it as the heavy-duty linesman plier for industrial-electrical work, a service-truck plier for cable installations, a maintenance-electrician’s hardened-wire cutter, a commercial wiring plier for ACSR feeders, and any application where the standard D-series linesman cutting capacity falls short. Forged single-piece steel construction with red dipped-grip handles.

Klein Tools has been making American-forged hand tools in Lincolnshire, Illinois since 1857 — over 165 years of continuous Klein-family ownership. Klein Tools’ USA-made line carries the company’s lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
