The Leatherman Rebar is a 17-tool stainless steel multi-tool with the company’s replaceable hardened wire cutters, a 420HC straight blade, a 420HC serrated blade, a wood/metal saw, and the needle-nose plier head Leatherman built its reputation on. The Rebar’s straight, no-frills design omits the scissors and bit driver of higher-end models in exchange for a tougher, simpler tool that holds up to construction and ranch use.
Use it as the daily carry multi-tool for tradesmen, ranchers, hunters, and military service members, a tool-bag staple, a vehicle emergency kit, a hunting field-dressing tool, and any application where Leatherman’s needle-nose plier and replaceable wire cutters earn their place over a lighter EDC pocket tool. The straight stainless body sheds dirt and blood better than the more textured EDC models.
Leatherman has been making multi-tools in Portland, Oregon since 1983 — Tim Leatherman’s original 1975 prototype is the great-grandfather of every modern multi-tool. Every Leatherman carries the company’s 25-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
