This is Aero Tech Designs’ Men’s USA Elite Padded Cycling Bib-Short in black, pairing the brand’s top long-distance chamois with bib straps that replace the waistband entirely. The compression panels and flatlock seams match the Elite short.
It solves the waistband problem on long rides — no elastic pressing the stomach during climbs or hours in the drops, no shorts creeping down. The straps disappear under a jersey and hold the pad exactly in place from the first mile to the last.
Aero Tech Designs has designed and sewn cycling apparel at its factory in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh, since the 1980s, with one of the widest size ranges in cycling.
