This is a cedar stand built to carry three planting buckets in a row at about 20 inches off the ground. The frame does the structural work and the buckets do the growing, which means each crop sits in its own soil and can be lifted out, emptied or replanted without disturbing the others.
It works well on a patio or against a garage wall where ground planting is not an option — tomatoes in one bucket, peppers in the next, herbs in the third. The open frame lets water drain straight through rather than pooling under the pails.
Greenes Fence has been building cedar garden structures in Ohio since 1947, working with North American timber.
