This is a Whiteside template/pattern bit, model 3010, ground for pattern routing and duplicating parts from a template. It measures 3/4″ cutting diameter, 1/4″ shank, and uses carbide cutting edges that resist heat and hold an edge far longer than plain steel.
Chuck it into a router table or handheld router to duplicate curved parts, follow a template for repeatable shapes, or clean up bandsaw cuts. The balanced bit runs true at speed, so cuts come out concentric and clean with minimal sanding afterward.
